Using The Device

The Innokin ITaste 134 Mini is the more conservatively sized version of its bigger brother, It is a microprocessor-controlled Variable Wattage only E-cig Mod, still retaining the looks and features just in a smaller, more regular size, coming in black or polished stainless steel, Still very complex in its build and appearance which looks like its taken its style and model number from the M134 Machine gun, The Itaste 134 Mini is probably one of the simplest mods to operate, With just two controls to master, a firing button (rapid click 3 times to turn the device on or off) and a rotational variable wattage control wheel (marked out with 8 settings - 6.5W, 7W, 8W, 9W, 10W, 11W, 12W, & 12.5W) If you have not correctly clicked into one of the wattage settings and you press the firing button it will flash red 6 times, that said the dial has a very positive click for each of the wattage settings so you should not have a problem with this, there is an illuminated battery life indicator built into the firing button (Green = Fully charged, Yellow = Half discharged, Red = Low battery)

Output

It has a maximum output voltage of 6.0V, Maximum Output current of 5.0A with a built in fuse at 7.0A for safety, The manufacturers minimum recommended resistance of the coil is 1.2 Ohm, The short circuit protection will kick in at about 0.6 Ohm +/- 0.2 Ohm

Construction

Still a hefty and solid construction as with its bigger brother made with a generous amount of stainless steel and good quality threading to the removable parts (top cap, battery sleeve and battery cap) There are a total of 24 Visible screws locking this device together, It is weighing in at:
156 Grams (around 5.5 Ounces) with the 18350 battery sleeve attached and measuring 106mm x 25mm.
165 Grams (around 5.8 Ounces) with the 18500 battery sleeve attached and measuring 120mm x 25mm.
Its still a real conversation piece just a bit lighter and more discreet than the full sized beast.

The Display

There is no LCD display on the Itaste134, it gives you the battery condition through the illumination holes in the firing button, Green – Yellow – Red (is Dead)

Battery Compatibility

Depending on which battery sleeve you fit to it the Innokin ITaste 134 takes 1 x 18350 or 1 x 18500, It is not able to run on 2 x 18350 batteries stacked, It has built in short circuit, reverse polarity protection & a 10 second cut off incase it is firing in your pocket / bag.

Guidelines

2. NEVER keep batteries loose in your pocket or bag where they could short circuit and cause a dangerous or explosive event. Use a suitable case or plastic battery holder.
3. NEVER place the charger on flammable surfaces when charging. (carpets, fabrics etc)
4. Don't heat, incinerate or reverse the polarity, always check polarity when charging or inserting into the device.
5. Do not over-charge or over-discharge. Remove from charge as soon as you get the green light or fully charged indication, check the instructions if unsure.
6. Use only the correct charger for the batteries, if you are uncertain check.
7. Only use recommended batteries and do not purchase or use cheap alternatives.
8. Discard a battery if it fails to keep a charge or looks damaged in any way.
9. Do not over-tighten atomisers / tanks onto the device, you only need to tighten until contact is made.
10. When charging batteries via USB do not over-tighten them in the charging lead.
11. Please dispose of batteries safely and according to the regulations.
